How Do I Submit My Charity Ride?
Simple, Click Here

What is Rock Mafia?
We are a not-for-profit riding group of rock music fans who dedicate our time to helping promote and attend charity motorcycle rides and events around our communities. We ride for a reason.

What Kind of Charity Rides Do You Promote?
We are proud to have helped all kinds of charities over the years; local, national, kids, adult, family, individual, medical, veterans, you name it, we’ve helped. We have never said no to a children’s or veteran’s charity event and we never will. All our welcome to submit their ride for consideration. Truly, we feel that its an honor to be able to help.

Have you ever said no?
Unfortunately, there are so called “charities” that actually contribute very little of the raised donations to the promoted cause. Sometimes the charity is actually just a way for the administrators to make a comfortable living while in reality a ridiculously small amount of the raised funds actually make it to the promoted cause. Sometimes, businesses try to disguise their commercial events as a fund raiser in order to garnish free promotion or to shed it in a different light.

Nobody raises more money for charitable causes than the motorcycle community, however that very fact has also caused many unscrupulous people and businesses to try and abuse our good nature for their own personal gain. That’s something we simply won’t allow.

We do have the resources to check on the various charitable causes that come are way, and we use them. If a submission does not meet our minimum acceptable standards, then we have chosen to not promote them.

Is the Rock Mafia a MC?
No we are not. We are a not-for-profit riding club. There is a huge difference.

It seems today more than ever, to people outside of our motorcycle community, and especially to riders new to the community, that there is some confusion as to what is an MC, and what the difference is between an MC and say a Riding Club, Group, or Motorcycle Association, etc.

While its probably fair to say that we might share a love of motorcycles and riding with many of our friends in MC’s, that is where the similarities end. MC’s are a totally different type of entity and way of life. I could write an entire article on the many differences, but to some it up quickly, joining an MC is a lifelong commitment to your brothers and their club. It is not something that their members take lightly, and it comes with a long history of traditions that deserve to be respected.

MC’s are most often distinguished by several visible factors including, but certainly not limited to, the very square MC patch on the back of their vests. You’ll notice that we do not have a MC patch, nor do we ever refer to ourselves as an MC. We have a CR on the back of our vest.

What Does the CR Stand For on the back of your members vests?
On the back of a Rock Mafia members vest you will see the letters CR directly to the right of our logo. They stand for Charity Rider. A member of the Rock Mafia is also known as a Charity Rider.

How Can I Join The Rock Mafia?
First off, it is not necessary to officially join the Rock Mafia Charity Riders in order to participate at any of the promoted rides and events we attend. Come on out! Don’t know anybody? Ride with us.

Unlike most of the other organizations associated with motorcycles, the Rock Mafia will not ask you to join our riding club. You must ask, and the process will be laid out before you.

Before you ask, you should know that being a patched member is not for everyone. It requires an unbelievable commitment to charity work and riding that most people simply don’t have. Also, due to our participation at many family friendly charities and sometimes even religious events, that a certain code of conduct is required and expected while in attendance. Look, we are not saints, not even close, however our members take the clubs reputation very seriously, and hold each other accountable for their actions.

As you might expect, our members are very serious about who they feel has earned the right to wear the patches. You can be sure that if you see one of our patched in members at an event, that the person has dedicated an enormous amount of time to charity work and riding in his community. I am very proud of each and every one of my brothers and the amazing work that they have done.

Now, if you feel that helping out charities and riding bikes is something that you are very passionate about… and you have the dedication and the time that it takes to be a patched member, then I suggest coming out to the rides, introducing yourself to the guys, any of which would be happy to explain our unique process.
